. when you take a look at business, i heard on cnn the chairman of marriott international saying we're lowering our expectations, business won't travel as much. every family will be impacted. every family has already been impacted to some extent. as you pointed out, when businesses cut back, that impacts their suppliers, it impacts their workers and there is no doubt that the combination -- now, look, let's put the numbers in perspective. we took $110 billion in tax increases. this is $85 billion in tax cuts. right now we're focused on the immediate impact. u.s. economy is strong. it's been trying to grow for two years, despite what comes out of washington. and the real issue beyond this immediate impact is what happens to america so we don't get to be like greece, so that the kind of austerity that greece had to have, which really destroys the fabric of society, doesn't happen here? are we better dealing with it now? should everybody, the government and consumers at all levels take a bit of a cutback now to avoid that kind of draconian cuts they've had in europe? >> that's what i h

microphone. let's work on that and then get back to her. let's go to jennifer delgado. she's in the cnn weather center in atlanta. what can you tell us? >> i can tell you a lot. we're still looking at snow coming down now for areas like amarillo, they were pounded yesterday with 19 inches of snowfall. but looking at the radar right now, right along interstate 7, you can see snow coming down. rain moving through st. louis. what we're going to see is more of that snow working in as we go throughout the afternoon. some of these locations are potentially going to pick up between 6 and 12 inches of snowfall. when you add that in with winds up to about 20, 25, of course we're going to be talking about very limited visibility. in fact, i want to point out to one bright side from yesterday. we had a lot more areas with the blizzard warnings. now notice we're just really looking at the northern part of oklahoma and that is going to be in place until 6:00 a.m. central standard time. but for kansas city as well as for areas up towards chicago and into detroit we have winter storm warnings and watc

're getting new information in that i think is obviously relevant here. according to our reporting here at cnn, cnn's fran townsend saying, the suicide bomber that did this attack in turkey was known to american and other intelligence agencies. again, it seems that we have information and aren't always able to act on it in time. is this a sign of a failure on the part of the united states? >> there's no way to know. i think we've got to wait for the investigation to come out. i think one of the other lessons of benghazi is it's a really bad idea to start speculating before you've got the facts. it may turn out that we screwed up on this one, that it was preventible. on the other hand, the good news is he didn't get past the first checkpoint. we weren't able to stop him altogether but we kept him from doing a lot more damage that he wanted to do. >> this person didn't get past the first ring of security. that's how these installations are supposed to be, fortress-like. i spoke to jon huntsman a week after benghazi, let me play what he had to say. i think it's more powerful coming from his mouth
